Below is the provisional CKGB programme for 2024. Please note: all dates are subject to change.
In the event of a cancellation, all parties will be notified at the earliest time possible.
The primary means of communication for all events is through the "Events" section of the CKGB Forum.
There is a "topic" for each event and the heading post of each topic contains the latest details for each event and a summary of the comments/discussion in the following posts.
Use the drop-down button for each of the events listed below for a precis of the event and a link to the relevant Forum topic. Note: there is also a general Event topic where issues such as helmets and licences are discussed.

Our first meeting of 2024 is an online gathering of fellow enthusiasts
A chance to talk all things Cyclekarts - Wheels, hubs, engines, sprockets and seats! If there are any topics you want to cover at the builder’s meet, please let us know.

This year we are going to Gasoline & Juice (NN7 4PS) for our AGM meeting and get together to chat about Cyclekarts and then just 5 minutes up the road to Whilton Mill kart circuit (NN11 2NH) for a 2 hour “Arrive and Drive” test session. Read More Here

We have been working with Santa Pod to facilitate a ‘Practise & Testing’ session which we are pleased to say will go ahead on the Saturday.

"Race the Waves" on South Beach at Bridlington. Drag racing on the sand and a provisional CKGB display arena.

The "National Kit Car Show" at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern (WR13 6NW). Static display at the show, plus a Cyclekart display arena. Camping available.

The "Double Twelve" event at the Brooklands Museum (KT13 0SL). Static display, dynamic displays, runs up Test Hill and provisional runs around the Mercedes Benz World test track.

"Dragstalgia" is a headline event at Santa Pod. It is a "vintage" style event, with lots of static hot-rod and early drag racing car displays, plus a whole weekend of action on the strip. There will be a vintage funfair, wall-of-death, cider and beer festival, plus live bands.

CKGB track/test day on the old airfield at Westonzoyland near Bridgwater.

CKGB will have its own grass display area for a variety of dynamic activities.
In addition to the CKGB activities, there will be other VSCC activities on the day.THIS EVENT IS NOW OVER

CKGB track/test day at ELK Kart Circuit near Newark (followed by the Newark Kit Car Festival).

The "Newark Kit Car Festival" at Newark Showground (NG24 2NY). Static display at the show, plus a Cyclekart display arena. Camping available.

CKGB static display and dynamic display (15 minute session) as part of a combined vintage/veteran car show and airshow.

CKGB have sole use of the "Live Action Arena" for the weekend. This is approx 135 x 35 metres with a tarmac surface. A track/or variety of tracks will be set up within the arena for various dynamic events. We may also experiment with a "Gymkhana" style event.

Cyclekart - BSA No. 5
A BSA three wheeler, not the raciest of cars, but it did have some success in trails in the day. Three wheelers suffered the Brooklands ban in the 20’s and had to find other forms of motorsport to compete in, motorcycle events and trials amongst them.
